The Violinist & The Robin

Hey, So My process was pretty easy on this one. I started with sketching the girl meeting the robin. I decided during the sketch that she's on the way to violin class (inspired by my sister that plays the flute and has this case she takes to class each time), therefor the violin case. After finishing this sketch, I decided to make another one in which she will try to become friendly with the robin. In this one she stopped on her way to class and tried to interact with it. The idea for the final one, after these two, was pretty clear. I wanted to show the actual friendship. In the first two sketches, the girl was making an effort to become friends with the robin and the robin was kind of checking the offer. In this one, they already feel comfortable with each other and the co-existence is natural to them.  For the coloring I chose 2 main colors: blue & orange, and built the color palette around them. Beach Girl: Process

Started with this sketch I sketched in the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art. It was inspired by a Greek statue (That, as you can probably see, missed two arms and one leg as well). The initial sketch was made with a blue pencil and the final sketch line, back at home, was made with a 0.5 black pencil. Afterwards I scanned the sketch and colored it in Photoshop. Here are some images from the process: As you can see, after I finished the lady (still missing two arms and one leg), I decided to add them.  Here is the final illustration: Cheers! Hope you liked it. I really like the pencil texture of the coloring, goes well with the pencil sketch. Welcome to tell me what you think in the comments below:)
